My room was on the first floor near the end of the building. There was a slight smell when I entered it, but it disappeared in half an hour when I opened the windows. Since it is located near Kahului Airport, reaching the airport within 5 minutes is convenient.

Rome and furniture was super old. Service was super poor

This is a tired property, especially in the cheapest room category and in the restaurant space. But staff were friendly and they are obviously trying to make an effort to make it an interesting location. If you are looking for premium caliber accommodation, stay away.

The photos on the website of the rooms are NOT what the rooms look like. They appear updated on the website. They definitely have not been updated in a long time. Staff was fantastic tho.

The staff was extremely nice! But this is simply a place to sleep at night. There is not much the hotel offers during the day, restaurant hours are limited and cocktail lounge hours are limited to dining. So no drinks by the pool unless you bring your own. The hotel is located on a very busy street (no fault of the hotel) just keep in mind that you can hear everything, all night. This place is okay if you have activities planned in the area. Maybe a good spot to stay after a RTH trip. But not for more that 1 or 2 nights. We stayed for 2 nights before going to Kaanapali.

The pictures on the site showed a beautiful beach, but that was behind another hotel further down from this one. They called it their sister hotel. We couldn’t get breakfast on a Monday, as the restaurant was closed, so had to walk down to this other hotel that morning. The room and bathroom were very old and tired, so it was hard to make it look clean. The bed was comfortable but the white sheets didn’t fit the bed well and they had a grey tinge to them. The staff were very nice and helpful and they let us stay an extra three hours for free, as we didn’t arrive from the airport until almost midnight.

The rooms on the website looks good but in reality it’s old and outdated. Nice towels but that’s it.

Construction zone. Room is dingy and tiny. View of the cars parked outside the window. Bathroom is dirty; hair in the shower, urine on the toilet.

While the room was small, the staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly, and the amenities were great!

There are some things that can't be helped because there is construction going on next to the hotel, so it just looks like you're pulling into a construction site. For the most part, staff is helpful and polite. There was one male staff at front desk who just seemed like he didn't want to be there nor communicate with guests who have questions. Our room was ocean front, and I have to say it looks a bit different from the promoted pictures pertaining to the view. We still have the ocean view, but the shrubs and grassy hill is definitely a slight obstruction. One of our beds had a bad smelling scent, almost like pee. Not sure what happened there as the other bed didn't have any bad smells. We asked for new sheets like everything new and the hotel staff at the front kept going back to the storage to bring out one item and we kept clarifying that we meant everything. But then they said they are completely out of clean sheets, which I thought was odd and not a good sign that they don't even have basics in inventory to replace when customers need it. The outdoor layout is nice for this type of hotel, beaches are rocky but swimmable. The restaurant at the hotel is not great. We paid a lot for the new years buffet, and it was not worth 50 per person. They have been having issues with AC units breaking or not working. Ours stopped working for two nights & they couldn't get us a similar room. We opted for fans and even fans were not readily available, so they had to look for fans.

Good, affordable option for lodging in Maui. The room was large, clean, and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel isn't a prime beachfront location, but the outside has some fun games and lounge chairs and it's close to the airport which is great for an early morning departure. Lots of options nearby for food and shopping. Good value for the price.

Very close to the airport but very quiet , had there own beach

When checking in with my Expedia reservation, they charged an extra $15 resort fee, separate from what I’d already paid. They also charged $20 for parking so my “welcome” into this hotel was paying $35 extra PER DAY than what I expected to pay. Outside of the extra price, we got a towel with a rip in it, and the shower had some mold. It’s fine for the price point, but if you book here, expect to pay extra and know that you’re not staying at a top-line resort.
