The hotel was nice but people kept slamming their doors all night.

I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel. It’s a lil dated but well taken care of and I appreciated that. I’ll definitely book with them again.

The outside doors didn't lock. Says it's non smoking, but smelled terribly smokey. Weird guy sleeping in his car with broken windows in the parking lot. People talking and doors closing loud all night. Carpet in room was dirty and sticky. I cancelled my second night and left. I was in town with my sone for an event and felt completely unsafe with the ability for anyone to coming in from the outside.

Wasn’t in a great area. Very old building. Bathroom reminded me of a hospital bathroom. Carpet was old a smelled. Checkin was great! Very polite staff.

Supposedly Non smoking room was smoking infested. Elevator was dirty

I recently had the opportunity to stay at Microtel Inn and would like to share my experience. The accommodations were generally satisfactory, with comfortable bedding, efficient air conditioning, and a well-functioning television, all contributing to a pleasant environment. However, the breakfast offerings fell short of expectations, lacking both variety and quality, which could use improvement. A significant concern during my stay was the pervasive odor of marijuana in both the room and hallways. This strong scent unfortunately triggered my asthma, impacting my overall comfort. In summary, while the stay had its merits, particularly in terms of room amenities, the odor issue considerably affected my experience. I would recommend potential guests consider this aspect when planning their visit.

Good overall

The rooms carpet had a wet smell and I burned candles to give it a nice smell and was charged a extra 100 dollars from my account and when I called them they then said that they found a cigarette butt in the trash.. Liars

Definitely not a place to stay, ever! The room smelled horrible. No smoking was allowed, but yet the room smelled like cigarettes. The manager did offer another room, but it had the same smell in both rooms that were offered. The bathroom door was completely off-leveled, so you really had to force the door upwards with both hands to close. The pillows were so thin that you needed 3 pillows to make it into one. The mattress was completely uneven, so I had to flip it to try to find some comfort. We couldn't have the so-called breakfast because the smell was so bad. The walls were so thin you could hear everything, and I mean everything next door, especially when people closed their doors, you would wake up every time a door would shut. The AC unit was extremely loud, louder than usual, and prevented us from sleeping. The card to open the door only worked after you tried no less than 10 times, if that, which I had to get another one, and yet it was giving me problems. The management team did the best they could with what they had. They cleaned the best way they could. The management team was very friendly. You literally get what you paid for. I only needed the place to sleep because I was out all day, and still, the hotel couldn't provide me with the one thing that I needed, sleep!

It was in walking distance from local restaurants.

The room had a funny smell to it, mildew or just wet carpet.
