Very clean. Comfortable beds. The staff was super friendly and helpful with all our questions. Parking was not an issue and we brought a boat. Breakfast was nice.
We will use them again when we come fishing on the Mississippi River.

It was fine. The room was pretty janky, feeling wallpaper, questionable plumbing fixtures. The bathtub spout didn't work right, and water came out of the shower and the bath smells simultaneously.
The bed was nice and clean and soft with nice pillows. But the rest of the room was dirty and in need of maintenance.
Staff was robotic and curt.
Sufficed as a crash pad, but next time I will opt for a nicer hotel. Would have been fine for 20-year-old me, but 40-year-old me is a little over it.

Shower barely sprayed, no mount for shower head in shower, peeling wall paper, old microwave. Just an overall not so nice stay. Price was super cheap so I dealt with it.

Good location. Not the cleanest. Beds were ok. No hot breakfast. There was a microwave if you wanted to heat something up. Juice machine was leaking and left a puddle on floor. One customer complained his bagel was moldy. For a cheap night it’s ok but don’t expect much.

No heat on when initially entered the room (10 degrees outside), hallways and room didn’t smell the greatest, outer door to enter the building was not locked at all and the latch to our room door didn’t latch unless you slammed it several times. Basically, a place to sleep and nothing more.

First room toilet almost overflowing and very dirty! Tried to call front desk and phone didn’t work in the room! Went down to the front desk to ask for a clean room and one that toilet wasn’t going to over flow, this was happening when just flushing. Room was changed and the new room was another dirty toilet and shower! Can hear everything from other rooms and interstate! Will never stay again!

Good for overnight but not much more. Phone and clock were broke. Toilet moved whenyou sat on it. Gross matress in the stairway. But you get what you pay for

This was a great lesser priced hotel compared to those in La Crosse, and this was a short drive to anywhere in La Crosse, and there is more around this hotel than in downtown La Crosse. The hotel is a bit dated, but it is clean. No complaints. It served its purposed well. ;)

We were given this motel on a recent business trip. We needed an accessible room. If it hadn't been late, we might have left and looked elsewhere. The people at the desk were friendly and efficient, but... The mattresses were too small for the frames and kept sliding when we sat on them. The microwave and fridge worked, but appeared to be from the 1980s. I ran hot water through the coffee maker several times to clean it. The baseboards in the bathroom were cracked. But the most disconcerting thing was the mirrored headboard. Felt like we were in an hourly motel. And since our room was next to a storage/mechanical room, it just was uncomfortable.

I love staying at this Microtel Hotel. Teri, hotel supervisor does an outstanding job of being very friendly, caring and efficient. She runs the hotel in 5 star service. I highly recommend staying here and i will always stay here when im in Onalaska.
The breakfast was included and it was great too and im a very picky eater.
