For the most part, this property is what you'd expect from a Super 8. It feels dingy overall, but they made an attempt to make the room feel a little upgraded. I like the hard floors in the room versus carpet. Bathroom was decent, which is typically what makes the room feel gross. I liked the bottles of soap and shampoo/conditioner on the wall of the shower. There were no rusty or moldy areas in the bathroom. Carpets in the hall are really gross. Breakfast was very basic but we were thankful for the mini spread. It was VERY quiet overnight, so we slept really well. It was amazing how quiet it was. Front desk gentleman was so nice! We arrived at nearly midnight and he just started his shift. He was so friendly and social. We enjoyed that after a long day of driving.

The water barely worked when taking a shower. When we ask for some new wash clothes, they were dirty. They were rude when we asked for change for the pop machine. The fan did not work in the bathroom.

It was OKAY. The room and property were run down, but not dirty and breakfast was average. There was absolutely no hot water, not even a hint of it even after trying for several minutes. The outside doors were never locked and anyone can walk right on in day and night. Ultimately chose a different hotel for the trip back, but it was alright for a quick one night stay.

The room was freezing and there was no thermostat. I had to wear extra layers to bed. Also there seems to be small children making noises outside my room in the morning during my last few visits.

This hotel is dirty and not kept well. All the surfaces- walls, elevator, counters, are dirty. Our bed was made with the fitted sheet halfvway down the mattress, and it was inside out.

The lady at front desk she gave me a hard time for booking through a third party the room was not clean the bathroom shower wouldn’t drain I paid for the room in cash I got a receipt did not look at it real close they used the wrong dates and saying I owed them for another day since I paid cash it’s my word against them so if you stay hear beware

The lock on the outside door by our room didn’t latch not to mention there wasn’t any kind of lock. We had adjoining rooms, 137 the door didn’t stay shut because there was no latch/lock of any kind. The bathroom in 135 had a clogged sink, the tub wouldn’t drain unless I held the plug handle down. The body wash container was empty. People outside our room from midnight until 1:30 a.m. Listening to music and talking very loud!

When we arrive, the shower was dirty. They were old soap bars half of the lightbulbs were burned out, and the door did not lock when we went to the front desk. We were told there were no other rooms and we were given a refund. Also, the TV did not work Would not stay here. I would rather sleep in my car.

Its an old hotel that hasnt been updated in a long time. The rooms need a deep clean and the lobby smelled smoky. It was a cheap place to stay for one night. The continental breakfast was not good.

There was blood on the bed and on the sheets, stains on the couch in the room, holes in the wall of the bathroom, hair dryer and soap dispenser looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. There were several open rooms with junk piled in them

Despite having made a reservation they were unable to honor our request for a king size bed. Upon arrival lobby was busy with noisy running children and the lady that was helping us didn't offer any alternative to the mix up. Only one of the 2 card keys worked in the door. The vacuum must not have been working as the carpet was not clean. They need to do some work on the bathroom in 151. Shower rod barely hanging on the wall and the toilet seat must be original to the building. We will not book with Super 8 again.

The place was filthy and in disrepair. Having stayed there some years previously, I was very disappointed to see it in this condition. We will not be returning. There are a lot of other lodging options in Mitchell and I would advise travelers to go elsewhere.
