We love the on-site restaurant

We have stayed at this hotel several times. The rooms are always very clean and the staff is very friendly. Any time we have had a request or something come up they have always been very accommodating. The on-site restaurant is also very good

The staff was very efficient and friendly

The staff were amazing and accommodating but were dealt an unfortunate hand. The power was out during our stay which was out of their control. We weren’t able to fully check in and were in town for a concert so we couldn’t get ready in our room. We had leftovers that spoiled in the refrigerator and once the power came on we had to wait in line for over 25 minutes to check in and get a keycard. The staff was again incredible and made the best they could of an unfortunate circumstance, but it really threw off our entire night. When we checked out, the staff mentioned they would be discounting the stay. We’d like to receive our discount for the inconvenience.

Unfortunately there wasnt any power.

When Expedia messed up my booking, the front desk staff was absolutely excellent with helping us. We were 4 hours from home and didn’t have a room booked because Expedia failed to modify our booking after sending me a confirmation. I would like to thank the front desk staff for being so helpful and kind.

Hotel overall was fine. Just frustrated that a handicap room was reserved and not what we were given. Was told at check-in room would have a roll-in shower and it didn’t.

I thoroughly enjoyed my night here.. will be back

The hotel itself was beautifully renovated and the food was great but the real standout here was the hotel and restaurant staff—they made our stay outstanding and should be recognized for their terrific service and simple human kindness—characteristic of the Midwest.

Well appointed

Nice hotel and service

The Axis Hotel was a very pleasant surprise and find. Having previously been from the area, we were impressed with the rooms, dining, areas, staff, and the nightly rate. It was very easy access to the new I-74 bridge connecting the Illinois and Iowa sides of the Quad Cities, as well as, the rennovated areas of downtown Moline. The parking garage is under construction and a little confusing, but should be completed within a reasonable amount of time to make it very easy to park for guests.

Excellent hotel. Rooms do not have a microwave in them, but there is one in the little snack shop. We had a king with couch and it was very spacious. The bathroom and shower are fluffy and tall friendly. Bed and pillows were very comfy. We had a partial river view. We got to enjoy the 74 bridge lights. Other than some of the front desk workers being slightly judgmental with their words, everything was great. We will definitely be staying there again.

This hotel is exceptional! If you are traveling to the Davenport area I highly recommend staying here. Our room was immaculate, the bed and pillows are so comfortable that I am still thinking about them! The restaurant in the hotel, Fifth Avenue Syndicate, was amazing as well. Everything we ordered was delicious and the wine list was very impressive! I don’t typically leave reviews but this hotel deserves to be praised!

This is a nice place. There are bars and things to do nearby and Davenport is 5 minutes away.

It’s a nice hotel. Rooms are small but we weren’t in it much. A few decent bars and restaurants within walking distance. It’s a safe bet if your not from the area.

Our room was large with comfortable chairs, a huge bathroom with shower and a very comfy bed. The air conditioner kept us cool. We ate dinner in the hotel dining room and the service was excellen.
