The check-in and check-out staff was rude and looked like he hated relating to guests. It wasn't personal; he was the same with everyone. He announced without any apology, and only after I had made a refundable credit card payment for anything consumed during the stay, that the Internet was down and unlikely to be available for the coming week. The bedroom was far too small for a king-size bed, and the excessive noise made by door locks opening and closing all night by guests in adjacent rooms made sleep impossible. The breakfast room was far too small for the number of guests staying. Not recommended.

Me gustó mucho el hotel: pequeño, acogedor y con una excelente ubicación. Los empleados muy amables y hablaban español. Excelente servicio de limpieza diaria a la habitación y buen desayuno. Las habitaciones son pequeñas, pero en otros hoteles de NY también. Sin duda, volvería a quedarme aquí.

O hotel é bom e tem um bom café da manhã, a única coisa ruim é o tamanho dos quartos, sao bem apertados na foto não parece e como fomos no inverno tivemos que levar 2 malas pequenas e 2 grandes e ficou muito apertado.

Great place. Customer service excelled from beginning to end. The room was really nice. No carpet, which gives a cleaner feeling. Updated rooms & bathrooms. Quality toiletries. Great breakfast. Luggage storage. Close to shopping, food, transportation. I even had the Empire State Building viewable from my window! Ironically, because of overbooked flights I had to stay an extra night in New York. This was the first place I tried to book a room, but unfortunately, they had no availability. This will be my first choice anytime I go back to New York!

The room for the breakfast was too small and there were too much people there

So glad I discovered this hidden gem in Midtown. I usually stay in other hotels in the area but so glad I chose the Wingate. Check in was seamless and our room was perfect for us. We had everything that we could need ( loved having a microwave in the room). Most of the staff we encountered were very nice. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it. Oh and the location was perfect, and my view of the Empire State Building from the floor to ceiling windows was divine. Thank you again for such a lovely stay!

Near times square really centrally located and quite at night, breakfast was also good I would definitely stay again! Rooms are clean as well which is also an important thing.

Just spent 3 nights at this location. Hotel is in a wonderful location. Our room had a spectacular view of the Empire State Building. Short walk to subway, 5th Avenue, Macy’s and Time Square. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. Would definitely stay at this location again.

El hotel se encuentra entre la 5 y 6ta av. muy cómodo para ver el desfile, prácticamente caminamos algunos pasos para apreciarlo, el personal muy amable para darnos indicaciones e incluso nos cuidaron maletas ya que llegamos muy temprano para el check in, el desayuno no es muy completo pero cumple, se encuentra muy cerca del Empire State y metro
