We were awoken to a fire alarm that was extremely too loud at 5:40 am this morning. Turns out kitchen fire or something was burned fixing breakfast. Aside from that, it was an ok stay after the LSU game.

Great stay until about 5:45am the fire alarm woke us up and we didn’t get any notification whether it was real or a drill. Decided to get up and just leave since it was departure day anyway, walk down stairs to smoke & “a fire in the kitchen” with fire fighters and a cop. Front man told us there was a fire in the oven in the kitchen. Ate breakfast, biscuits & gravy, it was good. But being woke up at 5:45am to a fire alarm was NOT IDEAL. I understand mistakes happen, but after being out until 11:30 from the LSU game I WAS TIRED. All in all, clean place and very nice front desk staff.

Filthy water in bathroom. Management sucks!!! Never recommend.

There were giant dead bugs under the bed, dead lizards in the night stands, the tv did not work, and there was mud and grass coming out of the shower.

It was clean. Mattress wasnt the most comfortable but overall the service was good

I love staying here with my kids. The in door pool helps for entertainment and the hotel is clean.

Safe area, gas stations and fast food spots were close to the hotel.

What in shower/tub was brown. Could not use. Also, no hairdryer in room.

The overall property could use some upgrades. They also have limited parking. While convenient for visiting LSU, this wasn’t my best experience with a Holiday Inn Express. The bathroom needs a total overhaul - I am grateful that I brought my flip-flops.

Staff was fantastic!! Property needed some maintenance and upkeep that I’m sure was out of their control. Management/ownership needs to freshen up the place and ensure everything is in working order.

Everything was good minus the air conditioner. Had it on 68 and wouldn’t get the room cooler than 72 degrees.

Mrs Jessica was so sweet. We had trouble with the ac in our room and she switched rooms for us. The only thing we didnt care for was the breakfast and having to switch rooms at 12 am.

I was in a car accident on the way to the hotel. I was unable to contact them for a few days. THey cancelled my reservation, which I am ok with, but did not refund any of my money

Great location. Just few miles from the Baton rouge downtown but away from the city. Room was okay in terms of the size and amenities. We would have liked more if the sink could have been outside of the bathroom. It's tough in the morning if a family is staying together. Overall a good stay.

Front desk people were very helpful and nice. The hotel could use an upgrade and definitely should remove the carpet in the rooms. The ac unit in our room would get really loud every 30 mins or so but it did keep the room cool. It just made it a little hard to sleep. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was ok. Overall all I'd give it a 3.5 star.

Place was clean and easily accessed. The only issue we had was the swimming pool did not have working lights in the pool or above, which is a safety factor that needs to be looked into. The pool was one of the reasons we booked the place so that our grandson's could have some pool fun while we were there.
