Beautiful decor, spotlessly clean

The property was nicely maintained and the room was the perfect size for two people.

The inside was beautifully decorated, tidy and clean. Lots of stairs but that didn’t bother me. At first, I wasn’t sure from the look of the area but I felt super safe staying there. Cute back patio as well.

Just what I needed - a bed to sleep for a few hours. The building was very clean and quiet. I didn't see anyone else there, but I saw signs (a towel outside a door after some checked out, shoes left by the front door where there's a sign kindly asking us to remove our shoes). Make sure you read the check-in instructions. I missed a couple important details and had to finish them while waiting on the stoop, but it was very easy and the host was super-accommodating, understanding, and supportive. The sleeping quarters are not much larger than the bed, but I didn't need more. A great value as long as you manage your expectations.

I booked this property twice in 2 different rooms, and the peace was felt for the entire night. I will definitely rebook when rooms are available.

Awesome property. The location was great and was in an urban area. Walking distance to train station, bus routes, and food choices.

It was not made clear to us or to other guests that there would be shared space with other guest. Shared bathroom and kitchen and television. Once we all figured it out evereything was fine but I think they should be more telling that it is more like a hostel then a hotel.

The property is in a decent location on the south side of Chicago. It's near Soldier Field with plenty of free street parking in front. We had difficulty getting into the house because the code I was given didn't work. We were lucky that some cleaning staff came to let us in. When I called to resolve it before we left to go to a concert, the manager changed the code and for a while, that one wasn't working either. She made it seem that I was at fault for the code not working. The room we stayed in was nice and large with a comfy bed. However, the shared bathroom didn't have a clean tub and they don't provide any hand towels.

The rooms were nice & clean! The bathroom was clean. It was a bit chilly in the rooms but it was nice. I do take concern with property not answering phones at all! I suggest making sure the rooms are heated and cozy!

The propery was nice in regards to curb appeal, coming out of winter. The home had a lot of stairs to enter. The decor was nice and the open floor plan gave the house character. All rooms were located upstairs or downstairs. There are many stairs leading both ways. A recent surgery made going up and down those stairs painful. The house was spacious and misleading. There was no indication to notify renters that this is one big house with six bedrooms and you are renting a room. The room I rented was located in the basement and the door didn't seem secure. I was only there for a few nights and there was one other person so I wasnt on high alert. As the days passed more ppl began to arrive. It definitely gives college dormatory set up. Everything in the house is shared, except the bedroom. Take toiletries as the property does not provide soap, shampoo, etc. I was not able to view the available rooms and the room we lodged was too small for two ppl. Due to a lot of random traffic and rightfully so, we chose to leave a day earlier as a safety concern. Transparency would have been great from managment to understand the exact setup.
