Incredible staff and facilities

Staff was so kind & happy 😊 Kuna, Teri, Jerry, Frances, Matt, & Luke were a few of the people we remember. On Thursday, September 25, everyone celebrated my husband David’s 80th birthday 🎉. Such a wonderful surprise! Special birthday dessert, extraordinary dancing & music, delicious dinner. We thank you ☺️ all for a perfect vacation 🥰

Adults only was definitely a big plus. The menu and the meals need to be upgraded and s few different special meals on each night would be a great touch.

Recently had a 6 night stay which was amazing. The garden & maintenance’s staff need a special mention to how well kept this property is. The dining staff go above and beyond to ensure you are informed and catered to. The room was extremely spacious, clean, tidy, private & well themed for the location. Aitutaki on a whole is beautiful and highly recommended getting scooters to check out the greater island. Pros: Right on the Lagoon Staff that make you feel like family not a guest Location is beautiful Breakfast is great Possible improvement from our perspective: Inclusion of mosquito spray in public areas. Lots of mozzies around the resort. Other resorts and restaurants offer at zero charge. A daily complimentary transfer into town, as it quiet far away from most things (although bikes are available) We had abit of incorrect information provide to us on check in regarding scooter hire/license which saw us without transport over the weekend as everything was closed. Extra charges added onto activity prices if you get the hotel to call and book. Generally 20$ pp each time. Unfortunately after check out we feel the ball was dropped. Ferry guy called us into the transfer bus, but the driver dropped us off and left. Didn’t say anything to anyone, no good bye, no thanks for coming. Apart from very minor things, the place is beautiful and the staff and warm and welcoming.

Amazing tranquil place to rest and picture perfect! I stayed there 4 nights and 5 days. I even enjoyed the rainy days with cappuccino and champagne. I hope the restaurant menus are a little more diverse and selective. May want more salad menu. It is hard to get vegetables in the island. Breakfast buffet was nice.

I stayed at Aitutaki Lagoon Private Island Resort for 3 nights, and unfortunately, it did not live up to expectations—especially as a solo traveler. While this resort might cater well to couples, solo guests are clearly an afterthought. Despite their policy stating that check-in is at 3pm, I arrived on the same flight as a couple who was taken to their room almost immediately upon arrival. I, on the other hand, had to wait an additional hour and a half. The front desk staff, particularly Roneel, offered vague excuses and showed clear preferential treatment toward couples. Given that the hotel asks for your flight information in advance, there’s no excuse for being unprepared. Once in my bungalow, things didn’t improve much. The lounge chairs were dirty, torn, and moldy, and mine had visible bird droppings—not exactly the “luxury” you expect at a 4-star property (which frankly feels more like 3 stars at best). On my first day, I went on an island-hopping tour and returned to find the room had barely been touched—only one large towel replaced, bed made, and dirty glasses from the night before still sitting there. On the second day, I opted to use the $20 off credit in exchange for no room cleaning—but honestly, after the first day’s effort, there didn’t seem to be much difference. The one bright spot was Luke from the restaurant—he was warm, welcoming, and genuinely interested in making guests feel seen and valued. His kindness stood out.

Beautiful and relaxing

The staff were all absolutely fabulous, there was nothing they wouldn't do for us. The room we had was the premium beach front bungalow, plenty of room for 3 people. The reastraunt had plenty of choice's on the menu for food and drinks. The one thing that made it pleasant was that the staff new your names which makes it more personal. The only down side was the prices of the wine which I found to be quite expensive. Overall a fantastic resort to stay and relax at.

I loved the location of each bungalows, how they were styled and the privacy of being able to enjoy your own beautiful view from your deck and the natural but carefully manicured tropical surroundings; and the facilities provided and offered. It was also so unique Being able to see the sunrise and sunset on the same day! A perfect and relaxed holiday and at all times all staff members were professional, welcoming and helpful, just excellent!!
