We didnt have any heating in our room but when we told the reception staff they changed us to another bedroom, however the tv didnt work in that one but we werent bothered about that. We did tell the staff about it in the morning who said they were letting maintenance know about it. All the staff were lovely.

One of the cheapest options that day and didn’t disappoint. Extremely clean and comfortable. Speedy check in and out and delicious breakfast.

There was no soap or shower gel in the room. No sockets anywhere near the bed. Otherwise had a good stay, good value for the money.

The rooms are quite dated as guest have already described.
The TV in room doesn't work all cable channels nor the terrestrial channels and they state smart TV but you cannot connect any Android device as it is locked to their feature and setting.
Poorly maintained flooring especially in the bathroom where the bathroom floor tile was damaged and cracked and not attended to, resulting in injuring my foot with a deep cut.
Surely, wouldn't be wanting to stay there again.

Good room and staff but the room was very cold the small heater provided didn’t do anything and the a/c controls wouldn’t work. No smart TV either

Great location in centre of Brum and a very clean and modern hotel with a good sized room so for the price all seemed well. Staff were friendly and helpful.
However on the down sides none of the plugs in my room were working but they gave me a free breakfast - which was excellent as compensation. TV wasn't working either i guess the remote needed new batteries but as there was no way of contacting reception other than going down 6 floors I couldnt be bothered to tell them as I was only staying one night.

I checked in at around 9 pm. You would think that should give them enough time to clean the room but NO. The bin in my bathroom was not emptied (I have pictures and videos). The bin was full with the last occupants rubbish. I mentioned this to one of the staff and she was unbothered.
Secondly, my door (room 307) had issues with the lock. I had to push to lock. Failure to do this leaves your room open and unsafe. I also have videos to prove this. Overall, the hotel was a waste of my money.

From the outside it looked lovely. Reception were great and friendly. However room was cold as hearing wasn’t working with a small oil heater in there to “ heat “ a large room. Bed was comfy. Shower needed a clean. Soap dispensers didn’t dispense. Bathroom tap was loose and broken. If they managed to fix those problems it might be a better stay. Although we won’t be booking there anytime soon.

I won't be staying there again.
Room was dirty, big stains on the carpet.
Bed sheets had a stain on also.
In the bathroom the door looked like it had been kicked in at one time.
The tiles in the bathroom were broken and I cut my foot on one during the night.
Definitely recommend staying somewhere else.

Disappointed in the room for the price we paid. Expected better for £141. The room was small, bathroom had broken tiles on the floor, lots of grout missing in the shower, mould round the edges, paint peeling of the doorframe, the door didn’t close as it didn’t fit properly.

Well first of shoutout to them for letting me check in two hours earlier than regular time. The room they gave me seems pretty old, let me explain it was like the wall was most likely damage and to me they didn’t do a good job covering it. I was sleeping and in the middle of no where the fire alarm just went off in my room for like few secs and I came out of the room to see if it was only me or it happen to everyone in my floor. The location of this hotel is very great as in very very convenient you can walk to the Birmingham new street station and the bus stop is just right beside the hotel. You really do not need uber to go around for my opinion just get use to the bus and all and it will take you wherever u need (very cost saving). Overall the hotel is great and good price, I will recommend this hotel despite everything

It was sort of what you would expect for Budget City Hotel. The room was clean, bed was comfortable, there was a kettle, shower was good. Not very big but we were only there for 2 nights.
Reasonable walking distance for restaurants etc.
Private (paid) parking was a plus though took 3 attempts to get staff to explain location and access.

Breakfast was delicious.....my only nighle was the plates were hotter than the cooked breakfast
