The Sanctuary is located at the centre of the mangrove forest along the coastal land near Samawang Village at Labuk Bay, Sandakan, Sabah, Malaysia. It is approximately 38 kilometres away from the Sandakan airport. There are shuttle bus provided if you want to ride it. It costs for Rm20 per head per journey. The pick-up point is in Sepilok Town. For Malaysian Resident, the entrance fee is Rm15 for adult and Rm5 for child. Whereas, for the non-resident, Rm60 for adult and Rm30 for child. So, here you will get to see the monkeys closer and safer. You can also try feeding them.
Located at Kabili-Sepilok Forest Reserve, Sandakan Rainforest Discovery Centre was established back in 1996. However, only this late August 2007, it is opened to the public and becomes another point of attraction to Sandakan district. This rainforest discovery centre is managed by Sabah Forestry Department, and it becomes a home to the orang utans at the Sepilok Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre. Up to these days, it is famous for its role as an environment education centre for researchers and even visitors. Popular activities that the visitors do here are, Canopy Walk and Plant Discovery Garden. The admission fees are; RM7 for adult, RM3 for child from 5 to 17 ages. It operates daily from 8 am to 5 pm.

Located at Jalan Rambutan Sepilok Mile 14, Sandakan, this resort was given 3 stars for its quality. It is nothing bad at all considering the place is quite in remote compared to 5 stars hotels in the city. The accommodations provided are parking, restaurant and swimming pool. So, you do not have to drive out of the place to find for some food. You can just order or dine in at the restaurant. While relaxing your mind in the green nature, you may enjoy the swimming pool too. If you are staying in the dormitory, it will only cost you for RM41 per head. Whereas, if you prefer to stay in the D-chalet- rainshower, it costs for Rm349. You will enjoy the stay !
Located at Mile 14 Jalan Labuk Taman Hiburan Jalil Alip, Sandakan, this place is indeed a retreat I would say. Nothing much to talk about its’ accommodations since it only provides parking area and a restaurant, but the design or build up of the place is interesting. It is a resemblance of a long house. Surrounded by the trees, you will definitely breath the fresh air and it is totally different from the city. The best here is the stilt hut room that can be loaded with two persons where it will cost you for Rm151. If you go in a big group, you can just stay in the dormitory which costs for only Rm33 per head. Try it out guys !
Located at Jalan Sepilok, Sandakan, this place is a modern mixed with the nature. This place is more bright than the previous two mentioned above. The surrounding is more open yet it still offers you calmness and you will not get to here noises as in the city. The accommodations are only parking area and restaurant. You can choose to stay either in the dormitory or in the room. The dormitory will cost you for Rm31 while the room, which is more private, will cost you for Rm158. Apart from that, credit should be given for its cleanliness.
