I found Cockroach in a bathroom, and there 's something in my room that I can't tell.

We had a wonderful stay experince in GH Universal Hotel. The room was good and comfort but need improvement in bathroom. We enjoyed the breakfast with various meals and tasty, plus beautiful view. Great services from the hotel staff. Thank you so much for the birthday surprise (also the cake) for my husband, he's so happy. We will come back someday in another Bandung trip.

Staying here because I had no other choice. The house was locked, and I didn't want to wake my elderly parents to open the door. I booked a hotel room through an app smoothly: 1 bed, upper floor, non-smoking. Upon arriving at the hotel, the parking lot was already full. A staff member approached me to inform me that I might need to leave my car key with them later. Fine, I waited for further instructions. I ended up waiting in the car for about 40 minutes in the middle of the rain. Feeling curious, I asked how I should hand over my car key, as I wanted to check in soon. Only then did the staff ask for my car key. Once I got to the front desk, the staff informed me that there was no 1-bed room available. I told them I had already booked through the app. They tried to find one, but no luck. Fine. When I finally got to the room, it reeked strongly of cigarette smoke. Thankfully, I was able to switch to another room. Lastly, I just wanted to clean up and rest, but the shower was broken and couldn't be used 🥴. What a frustrating experience!

I like everything about the hotel. Definitely will come again

The room was very spacious. The amenities were so-so, very standard toiletries even though it was 4-Stars Hotel. I found a lot o hairs on Bedsheet. The light placement is not favorable, feels too dark at night.

In general, the staff are quite friendly and helpful, except for staff in the restaurant during breakfast time. I think they could smile more, or at least nod to our “thanks” while taking our empty plate or giving some cutlery or tissue when we asked for it. Speaking of breakfast time, the food variety and the taste also not very amusing. Not really worth the additional IDR 250k per-adult and IDR 125k per-child that we eventually paid because initially we didn't book room with breakfast (now I remember why). I hope they could improve this. I mean, there wasn't even a simple fried rice (nasi goreng), the lyonnaise potato was too salty, and the food variety was too spicy for breakfast time. Not very child-friendly if I have to say. Overall, I might come to visit again, but I will have to remember not to order room with breakfast and not to ‘automatically’ come for breakfast in the morning next time.
