The room that I booked did not have a window so I had to pay an additional 30 SGD per night to upgrade to a room that does have them.
The view from the large window to the street is nice, extra payment aside. The upgraded room also had a large TV in front of the bed which I find valuable and entertaining. The street also had several smaller hawker centers which is nice for late night eats, and a cafe/roastery that has some great coffee. The fast internet allows for uninterrupted Netflix streaming and internet.
The walls between rooms and/or ceiling-floor, however, is not entirely soundproof. I was able to hear muffled conversations from neighbouring rooms, as well as other less-than-family-friendly (18+) "sounds of excitement and enthusiasm" that people try to keep behind closed doors. The EastWest Line MRT station Lavender is a bit of a walk (600m ish) from the hotel, so keep that in mind if you have a lot of baggage and travelling from the airport using the MRT.
