The hotel is great for a short escape. The location is very strategic, the room is wide and clean, the service is excellent! They gave me a non-smoking room as I requested and I am so grateful for that. And what great next is that they gave guests a reusable and refilled water bottle and glasses so that no plastic wasted. The second time I stayed at Batiqa. The first one is for business and this time for exploring Surabaya. Overall so great! The staff at the lobby was very helpful in handling my problem with the room key. And of course, the food at the rooftop is awesome! Especially the Nasi Goreng Batiqa 🔥 Very recommended! Shoutout to staff Kak Rizky from FnB department, very helpful and so nice at the same time.

Warm water is not available, and it wasn't informed on check-in. One lift can't be operated. The receptionist replied with an excuse that the current rate already considers the condition of warm water being broken (not available), but she couldn't show the evidence. Overall, my experience in this hotel is bad. I will not stay at this hotel anymore.

Aston Inn Jemursari
Good stay, very clean, comfortable. They didn't provide water bottles in an effort to save plastic, but it's frustrating as an international tourist when you have to buy bottles anyway. Not the best breakfast buffet, but still enough varied options to find something you can eat if the local cuisine doesn't suit your taste.
